Privacy Policy

How ProsperSync handles personal and financial information, including privacy request paths for access, export, and deletion.
Information we collect

ProsperSync collects account information such as your name, email address, household membership, subscription status, and preferences.

When you use the product, you may add financial records such as transactions, categories, receipts, account labels, goals, budgets, investments, chat messages, and generated financial insights.

We also collect limited technical data such as device, browser, product usage, error, and security event information so we can operate and improve the service.


How we use information

We use your information to provide the finance assistant, sync household data, process subscription actions, generate reports, answer finance questions, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your financial records for third-party advertising.

AI features may process the financial context needed to answer your request or extract information from inputs you provide. You should not enter information you do not want processed for that feature.


Security measures

ProsperSync uses transport encryption, database access controls, and row-level access isolation to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been exposed, contact us immediately so we can investigate.


Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal data associated with your account.

Authenticated users can start data export and account deletion requests from account settings. You can also contact privacy@prospersync.com with the email address tied to your account.

We may need to verify your identity and preserve limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal obligations.


Retention

We retain account and financial records while your account is active and for a limited period afterward where needed for backups, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.

Deletion requests are processed after identity verification and may not remove anonymized, aggregated, or legally required records.
